First, involve your kids in recycling efforts at home. Here in Colorado, we're fortunate to be able to recycle almost every kind of recyclable material! We don't even have to sort our recyclables - just make sure they're clean. If you do have to sort your recyclables, have your kids help you create designated bins for paper, plastics, and glass, and encourage them to sort and recycle items themselves.
